This drawing is a reaction to the state of the world right now. When I drew this drawing I checked out. The eye in the flower of a mutated hand is staring down at the world, in disbelief of all the pain & madness. A Spirit riding a cloud remains unswayed by all the chaos, reminding itself that it is connected to a higher power. The butterflies emerging from the spiral had me repeating a really important idea that helps me get through the day: Even the greatest sorrows allow a beautiful opportunity for growth. This is an 11 x 14 Drawing on heavy watercolor paper, it was drawn with archival micron pens.
