This drawing depicts the process of a caterpillar experiencing metamorphosis.
Sometimes the urge to change is so great, it might even defy the laws of nature.

The idea of the caterpillar developing butterfly wings ahead of its time is a beautiful depiction of being driven by an unstoppable creative force.
