This mysterious etching depicts a woman of the night with her cat familiar. In the darkness and by the light of the moon, it becomes her. It represents the wild beast within, and the dichotomy of being the LION as well as the lion tamer. This is a serious and honorable task, illustrated so beautifully in this powerful and thought provoking etching.

This etching was hand printed by the artist in Santa fe, New Mexico. It was printed using two 4 x 6 copper plates on heavy arches cover black paper. The ink used was sepia, with alle pu pe' elements (selective coloring) of purple and blue. The overall dimension of this print is 9 x 12, horizontal.
